Helping Enderlin Area Residents Thrive (HEART)

The Enderlin Wellness Center is incorporated under the HEART (Helping Enderlin Area Residents Thrive) program.

HEART is a grass roots, neighbors-helping-neighbors volunteer-based program that serves elders who are 65 and older living in the Enderlin/ Sheldon area regardless of ability to pay.  HEART also arranges fee-for-service providers.

  • HEART meets with elders, their families and caregivers to evaluate the situation, identify strengths, help make plans to assure health, and safety and high quality of life for elders in their own homes.

  • HEART provides community-based advocacy, support and referrals to local resources, skilled home health care, volunteers and caregivers respite for elders, their families and caregivers.

  • HEART is a source for helpful health information and organizes health education, disease prevention and intergenerational activities.
